Rhode Island Marathon

Three weeks ago, I ran my 24th marathon for kids and schools. The marathon was in Rhode Island state; it was my 15th state as part of the “50 States Marathon Club”.

Thank you everyone for your donations and generosity. We raised almost $800 with this marathon and every single dollar goes towards schools and education.
I am forever grateful to you all. ❤

RI_1I went to Rhode Island with my friends, Kelly and Kymian. Kelly paced me throughout the marathon and Kymian ran the 4 miles race. We had such a great weekend, I love my dear friends. 🙂

RI_3Running along the Atlantic Ocean was so beautiful!  Rhode Island’s nickname is “the Ocean State”. The state is just 37 miles wide and 48 miles long, but its shoreline runs for 400 miles, which includes the Narragansett Bay shoreline.

RI_4The race took place right after a big storm and some streets were flooded.
I’m so happy we did this race; I felt that we supported a little bit the local communities by being there.

RI_5Kelly and I at the finish line! Every time I finish a marathon I get so emotional. 🙂

RI_6I love hugs! And I love Kelly more!
Thank you so much Kelly for your friendship and continuous support of run2buildschools. ❤
